Cynthia Jo "Cindy" Wilson

Cynthia Jo "Cindy" Wilson, 40, of Davis Drive, Cartersville, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Wilson was born June 13, 1969, in Piqua, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Betty J. Morrison, was formerly employed at Cracker Barrel and was of the Baptist faith.
Cindy was a very spiritual person, who lived life to the fullest. Her greatest achievement was being the mother of six children. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, had a past career in radio and a love of writing poetry and singing.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Randy Allen Wilson Sr.
Surviving are her children, Randy Wilson Jr. of Centre, Ala., Matthew Wilson, Christina Wilson, Courtney Wilson, Jacob Wilson and Ashley Rice, all of Cartersville; four grandchildren; a sister, Connie Morrison; her fiancé, Glen Edward Rice Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial services to celebrate her life will be held at a later day and time.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
