Emily Dunn Robichaux

Emily Dunn Robichaux, 84, of Fifth Avenue Nursing Home, Rome, formerly of Old Mill Road, Cartersville, died Saturday, June 6, 2009.
Mrs. Robichaux was born Aug. 29, 1924, in Orleans Parrish, La., the daughter of Edward E. and Selma Block Dunn, was a member of the Cartersville Eastern Star Chapter #329 and was a member of the Christian Science Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Louis E. Robichaux Jr.
Surviving are her children, Noel Parro of Cartersville, Louis E. Robichaux III and his wife Barbara of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Jean-Francois and Emily Parro of Cartersville, Louise P. and Jimmy Fairbanks of Calhoun, Louis E. Robichaux IV, Darrell Robicheaux and Jeffry Robicheaux, all of Dallas, Texas; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 9, in Lakelawn Park Cemetery in New Orleans, La.
Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, is in charge of the arrangements.
