Edna M. Cole

Edna M. Cole, 56, of Cartersville, died May 22, 2009, at Wellstar Tranquility Hospice House.
Born Oct. 11, 1952, in Charleston, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Carlton Eugene Lackey and the late Nellie Jane McClanahan Lackey. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her daughter, Jennifer Brawner; and her sister, Sabrina Lackey.
Those surviving are her husband, Charles Cole; her sons, Lamar Brawner and Michael Cole; her stepchildren, Edward William Cole, Timothy Gene Cole and Angela Denise Cole; her stepgrandchildren, Stormie Cole, Kayla Cole, Harley Williams, Austin Gayton, Star Cole, Summer Cole, Jessie Andrew Cole and Emma Isom; and her siblings, Jerry Lackey, Kenneth Lackey, Ricky Lackey, Randall Lackey and Gail Griffis.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, June 13, at the family's residence at 137 Rolling Hills Drive S.W., Cartersville. Rev. Michael Abernathy will be officiating.
