President Johnette Moss welcomed everyone and introduced the guests. JoAnn Dorsey, chaplain, gave the devotional on ways to be good to yourself, followed by prayer.
The hostesses for the tea were Marlene Henderson and Flo Lundee, co-chairs, with assistance from Opal Jarrett and Sue Tucker. The theme of "Phantom of the Opera," was carried out with each table appropriately decorated.
Delicious refreshments were served from a beautifully decorated main table. Mary Siniard arranged the fresh spring flowers that were on each table.
In addition to members already mentioned, others present were Mary Lou Wilson, Mary Jo Gayton, Shirley Hatfield, Pat Kofflin, Shirley Peek, Linda DeBoard, Jean Weaver, Fay Brumbelow, Hazel Stephenson, Louise Rogers, Jane McElreath, Bonnie Floyd, Ann Dodd, Norma Tidwell, Jannie McClendon, Ruth Harvill, Betty Watkins, Martha Gilstrap, Wanda Hicks, Susie Manning, Gloria Jackson and Paula Pinholster. Guests present were Sandra McMillan, Beverly Moore, Mary Ann Franklin and Julia Smith.
Door prizes of potted petunias were won by Ms. Moore and Ms. Dodd.
