On Thursday, Judy Wood, right, prays with her daughter, Stephanie, and fellow church member Jolene Wiedeman at the National Day of Prayer observance at the Frank Moore Administration and Judicial Center. Wood’s husband is the Rev. Keith Wood, pastor of the Assembly God of Cartersville. They have two sons who are firefighters, Christopher Wood — a Bartow County firefighter who attended the Bartow County National Day of Prayer service — and Aaron Wood, a firefighter for the city of Rockmart. For more coverage on the National Day of Prayer, which recognized local public safety personnel, see Sunday’s edition of The Daily Tribune News.
