According to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office report, the man said he and a friend left when he noticed a vehicle matching his ex-girlfriend's turn onto Cypress Way. A few minutes later, the man received a phone call saying his home had been fired at and damaged.
The deputy observed suspected bird shot from a shotgun, along with shattered glass and damage to the home.
The man said his former girlfriend's new boyfriend had made threats to him about four months ago, including threats to kill him.
A man inside the home said he walked into the living room when he heard a gunshot. He was injured by flying glass but refused medical treatment.
