Adairsville muscled its way past Banks County, 21-3, Friday night to advance to Round 2 of the state high school football playoffs.

The Tigers, making their first appearance in the postseason in eight years, took a 7-3 lead in the first quarter and played Banks County even the next period to take the same lead into the break.
