According to Chief Charles Stafford, investigators made the arrest after serving criminal arrest warrants at 108 Casey St. in Adairsville. During the arrest they discovered Cox was in possession of a handgun and additional meth. The firearm and a truck were seized as part of the investigation.
Stafford estimated the street value of the meth at approximately $800.
Cox was transported to the Bartow County Sheriff's Office and is awaiting bond.
