Additional candidates qualify for Nov. 5 elections

The following individuals have qualified for local offices on the Nov. 5 ballot. Qualification continues today from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone interested in running for a local office may qualify at their municipality’s city hall.

Adairsville:

Adairsville reported no new qualifying candidates, closing out the process for the city. City hall is closed today.

Cartersville:

Valerie Holt has qualified to run for Ward 3 on the city council.

Euharlee:

Kathy Foulk, incumbent, has qualified to run for mayor.

Joseph Turner, incumbent, has qualified to run for a seat on the city council.

Sammy Carden, incumbent, has qualified to run for a seat on the city council.

David Stout has qualified to run for a seat on the city council.

Emerson:

Brenda Tidwell, incumbent, qualified for a city council seat.

Donnie Bagwell qualified for a city council seat.

Kingston:

Wanda Penson has qualified to run for mayor.

White:

Dennis Huskins, incumbent, has qualified for a seat on the city council.
