GSP Operator Daniel said Pledger was traveling east on Ga. 20 at Shoney’s around 5:30 p.m. and crossed over the center line, hitting a car head on. Authorities are awaiting blood tests and believe Pledger may have been impaired.
Four people suffered non-life threatening injuries. Three other cars involved in the crash were traveling west behind the vehicle Pledger hit head on.
