Under the guidance of its new executive director, Roberta Green, the Bartow Health Access will open its doors at 31 Pointe North Drive, Cartersville, on Tuesday. Securing the 5,000-square-foot permanent location -- the nonprofit's third site since its inception in January 2008 -- is the first step in transitioning its operations from a referral center to a primary healthcare home.
"Our goal is to treat people with dignity and with respect and to provide them with high quality care regardless of their ability to pay. ... We're very thankful to the 55 founding physicians that agreed to be part of the referral network," Green said.
