Miss Ferguson was born July 28, 1935, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late, Roy Elwood and Emma Josephine Cantrell Ferguson and was a member of Burnt Hickory United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry L. Ferguson.
Surviving are brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold Ferguson of Suwanee, Vernon and Becky Ferguson of Cartersville, Wendell and Lula Ferguson of Dallas, Doug and Betty Ferguson of Suwanee; two sisters, Elizabeth Gail Forsyth of Rockmart, Mary Ellen Jennings of Kennesaw; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 15, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs and Matthew Ferguson officiating.
Burial will follow in Ferguson Cemetery in Dallas.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from noon until the funeral hour.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
