Aug. 17

* Mark Stewart Butler, 47, of 51 Douthit Bridge Road, Dallas, was arrested and charged with stalking.

* Christy Lea Mills, 26, of 7030 Blueberry Ridge No. 193, Acworth, was arrested and charged with simple battery under the Family Violence Act.

* Clifford Allan Palmer, 31, of 34 Wet Oak Drive, Rome, was arrested and charged with probation violation.

* James Roy Patterson, 42, of 18 Mobile Home Park, Rydal, was arrested and charged with parole violation.

* Edward Daniel Smith, 58, of 3033 South Military Trail, West Palm Beach, Fla., was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

* Brett Webb Talley, 17, of 34 Town Creek Lane, Adairsville, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

* Anthony Eugene Thompson, 38, of 35 Jones Mill Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm or knife and possession of arms by a convicted felon.

Aug. 18

* Jeffrey Dale Chapman, 24, of 214 Teddonath Road, Armuchee, was boarded for Adairsville police on traffic charges.

* Victor Hernandez Fernandez, 33, of 703 Stone Mill Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act.

* Artenio Cortez Gonzalez, 30, of Pensacola, Fla., was boarded for Emerson police on traffic charges.

* Douglas Mitchell James, 45, of 1326 Hill City Road, Sugar Valley, was arrested and charged with giving false information or false name.

* Rodriguez Espinoza Lopez, 27, of Chattanooga, Tenn., was boarded for Emerson police on traffic charges.

* Amy Michelle Terry, 29, of 5854 Highway 20, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act.
