Jan. 11

* Josh Andrew Burdine, 20, of 314 South 22nd St., Decatur, Ill., was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a housing authority, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

* Mary Alice Cross, 46, of 7020 Sky View Court, Acworth, was arrested and charged with simple assault under the Family Violence Act.

* Robert Evan Lewis, 18, of 5970 Highway 20, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with theft by taking.

* Samuel Alexander McIntyre, 17, of 57 Sweetbriar Circle, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with theft by taking.

* Steven John Sanchez, 26, of 7, Penny Court, Cartersville was arrested and charged with battery (FVA) and third-degree cruelty to children.

* Gregory Harrison Smith, 24, of 1 Penny Lane, Cartersville, was arrested by Emerson police and boarded at the jail.

* John Ross Snow, 29, of 373 Road #3 South, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with theft by taking.

* Dustin Craig Tate, 30, of 53 Black Road, White, was arrested and charged with simple battery (FVA).

* June Mary Teufel, 71, of 7020 Sky View Court, Acworth, was arrested and charged with interference with 911 call.

Jan. 12

* Eugene Lewis Avery, 19, of 46 Madden Road, Kingston, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.
