* Dominique Dewayne Guthrie, 27, of 730 MLK Jr. Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with two counts of cruelty to children, interference with a 911 call, battery on a police dog, obstruction of an officer, and battery and false imprisonment under the Family Violence Act.
Dec. 4
* Tony Lee Barnett, 32, of 50 Jones St., Cartersville, was arrested and charged with probation violation and contempt of court.
* John Linares Carson, 29, of 398 Poplar Springs Road, Adairsville, was arrested by Adairsville police and charged with possession, manufacturing, distribution, etc., in violation of the Georgia Controlled Substance Act.
* Jeromy Val Dietsch, 32, of 50 Echota Road, Cartersville, turned himself into the jail and was charged with theft by taking, theft by deception and probation violation.
* Jennifer Marie Holleran, 22, of 4528 Scenic Mountain Drive, Acworth, was arrested and charged with obstruction of an office and simple assault under the FVA.
* Melissa Ann Johnson, 34, of 243 Mill Pond Court, Jasper, was arrested by Emerson police and boarded at the jail.
* Donald Henry Klingel Jr., 57, of 1135 Wild Azalea Trail, Waleska, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
* Edvin Veliz, 29, of 28 Bishop Mill Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with simple battery under the FVA.
* Eloisa Veliz, 30, of 28 Bishop Mill Drive, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with battery under the FVA.
Dec. 5
* Damione Dejuan Ice, 36, of 2302 Corral Trail, Chattanooga, Tenn., was arrested and charged with battery under the FVA.
* Christopher Kinuhtia Kamami, 45, of 9 Ridge Run, Marietta, was arrested and charged with DUI, failure to drive within a single lane and speeding.
* Gary Lamar Purvis, 39, of 2603 Ridgecrest Drive, Chattanooga, Tenn., was arrested by Adairsville police and charged with DUI, expired vehicle tag and no insurance.
