April 17

* Phillip Shane Franklin, 19, of 824 Cassville Road, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.

* Corey Elaine Jenkins, 32, of 266-A Etowah Drive, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with battery under the Family Violence Act.

* Gary Skipper Jenkins, 47, of 226-A Etowah Drive, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with battery (FVA).

* George Phillip Pittman, 25, of 6 Elm St., Aragon, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with theft by shoplifting.

* Hoyt David Thompson, 53, of 108 Roving Road, Lot 8, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* James Reginald Waddell, 32, of 1415 Old Alabama Road, Taylorsville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with contempt of court for child support.

* Mark Alan Whorton, 41, of 13 Honey Vine Trail, Cartersville, was arrested by Cartersville police and charged with theft by taking.

April 18

* Danielle Fostien Helmick, 27, of 205 Oakstone Way N.W., Dalton, was arrested by Adairsville police and boarded at the jail.

* Rashad Lynn Hill, 24, of 59 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Kingston, was arrested by Cartersville police and boarded at the jail.

* Amy Denise Jordan, 45, of 1925 Cassville Road, Lot 2, Cartersville, was arrested and charged with battery (FVA).
