Staff Report

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the visitation booths at the Bartow County Jail are closed and will not reopen until Feb. 21, officials said.

When visitation resumes, the schedule for inmates eligible for visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m., noon to 4:30 p.m., 6 to 7 p.m. and 8:30 to 11 p.m.

No visits will be allowed after 11 p.m. and no one will be able to sign up for visitations any later than 30 minutes before the visits are scheduled to end.

Inmates are only allowed four visits a week with a total of eight visitors per week (not including infants less than three years old). An inmate can only receive one visitation per day. Sign-up is first-come, first-served basis, and they will not begin until 30 minutes before visitation times. All visits will be conducted through the video visitation system. For more instructions, see rules posted inside the jail lobby.
