Bartow school board votes to retain positions

The Bartow County Board of Education on Monday heard more than a dozen recommendations from Superintendent John Harper that included the purchase of technology as well as the continuation of contracted services for special education services. During a called meeting following the board's regular work session, the board also voted to retain nearly 100 percent of certified employees for the upcoming school year by transferring positions.
