Mr. Billie Ledbetter was born on April 4, 1936, in Cartersville, to the late Mr. & Mrs. Crawford and Katie Benham Ledbetter.
He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and also served on the Deacon Board. Billie graduated from Summer Hill High School in 1954 then later attended college to become a draftsman. He was employed as a salesman with Georgia Marble Company, and then went on to work for Southern GF Company and later at Tal-Kno until his health began to fail.
Billie leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of 54 years, Shirley Ann McCoy Ledbetter; five loving children, Sherry Usher (Tony), Bridgett Habersham (Shounton), Gregory and Kenneth; seven grandchildren, Tyson, Brittany, Victoria, Anthony, Laron, Nigel and Nicholas; two great-grandchildren, Jamerica and Kaedon; one brother, Harvey Ledbetter; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
