With the game on the line, Cartersville used a potent running attack to score the go-ahead touchdown against Cass High and win their rivalry game 24-20 in high school football Friday night.
Doing the damage on the winning drive for the Canes was Tiamon Pennymon, who ran for 5, 10 and 3 yards before capping the 8-play drive with a 26-yard touchdown scamper that closed out scoring in Cartersville’s favor for the evening.
