A Stone Haven Circle resident told authorities that someone she knew stabbed her early Tuesday morning.

According to a Cartersville Police report, the woman said she had been driving in the Atco subdivision when she was approached by a person she knew. She said the person then pulled her out of her vehicle, a gray 2001 Toyota Camry, and stabbed her three times.

The woman, who was treated at Cartersville Medical Center, sustained two large cuts to her left bicep and her left forearm, as well as a small cut on her right inner leg -- injuries that left her covered with blood from her head to her feet, the reporting officer noted.

The incident reportedly occurred between 3:10 and 4:26 a.m.

Safe, money reported taken from restaurant

A restaurant reported Monday the theft of its safe and the cash from it.

According to a Bartow County Sheriff's Office report, the safe was located under a cash register and was only bolted or welded to a metal rack, which also was taken. The safe was reported to have $2,300 inside.

The incident occurred between midnight and 5 a.m. Monday.
