Chad touched the lives of everyone who knew him. His true heart's desire was to be the daddy of his children. He's preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Lynn Bryant; a brother, Chucky Graves; his father, Obrey Lee Bryant; grandparents, Bud and Jeanette Thurman, Fannie and Cecil Henderson, and Aubrey Lee Bryant; uncles, Edward Thurman and Billy Thurman; and a favorite cousin, Sherry Lynn Thurman.
Surviving are his children, Meagan Lynn Bryant, 7, and James Bryant, 2 1/2; mother of his children, Kristian Bryant; mother and stepfather, Wanda Thurman and Dale Dunbar of Fairmount; brothers, Sammy Whitaker and Philip Summers, both of Missouri; sister, Becky Garrison of Missouri; uncles, Charlie Bryant of Chatsworth, Robert Thurman of Fairmount, Thomas Moore of Alabama, and Ronald Moore of Cedartown; aunts, Joyce Godfrey, Liz Smith and Becky Henderson, all of Rockmart, Joann McAbee, Carol Thurman, Shirley Thurman and Betty Jean Thurman, all of Cartersville, and Janice Bannister of Kingston; aunt and uncle Jewell and Harrison Wilbanks of Cartersville; and many cousins and loved ones.
Services will be held Oct. 3, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 550 Mount Pleasant Road in Fairmount, near Pine Log off U.S. Highway 411. Rev. Sam Whitaker from Popular Bluff, Mo., is officiating. All family members and friends welcome.
