Nicholas Tyler Cordell pleaded guilty on charges of two counts of armed robbery, two counts of hijacking a motor vehicle, two counts of terroristic threats and aggravated assault in Judge Scott Smith's courtroom Wednesday.

According to the indictment, Cordell, assisted by another suspect and armed with a firearm, robbed the Banana Boat Grocery Salvage on Dec. 16, 2010. The men demanded cash from the store and the manager's wallet. They then hijacked another man's vehicle while the owner and a driver were inside the vehicle. Threats were made to both men, including that they were not to inform law enforcement of the incident.

Cordell also pleaded guilty on two other cases with charges of burglary, theft by taking, theft by receiving stolen property and criminal trespass combined in both. A plea has yet to be entered regarding another pending burglary case.

A sentencing date was not set Wednesday.
