Four units responded with eight personnel and fought the blaze along with help from the Georgia Forestry Service who built a fire break to contain the fire, according to BCFD's Sgt. Lisa Hahn.
The fire started around 3:30 p.m. and was contained by 5:30 p.m., Hahn said. Although there were structures in the area, the fire damage was contained to the woods, she said. Cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
