The owner of the Sunoco on North Main Street in Acworth said a man suspected of having a gun robbed the store Saturday night.

According to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office report, the man called police just after 9:30 p.m. after the suspect entered and handed him a lottery ticket and a note that read, “Give me all cash now.” The suspect then reached into his pocket as though he had a gun.

The owner told the suspect he could not hand over all the cash or he would be fired. The suspect then demanded $40 and all the items on the counter, which totaled $54. He then fled toward Cobb County in a gray Chevrolet Lumina.

A full description of the suspect could not be provided.
