Mrs. Gayle "Belle" Crocker, 65, of Cartersville died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at her residence following a four year courageous and brave battle with breast cancer.

She was born Nov. 13, 1946, in Fulton County and was the daughter of the late Andrew Holland and the late Sarah Francis Worthington Holland.

Gayle was of the Methodist Faith and was inspirationally strong during her battle with cancer and never gave up. Before retiring she was employed by Highland Rivers as an LPN.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Crocker of Cartersville; three daughters and son-in-law, Sara Martin of Canton, Christy Lloyd of Bandera, Texas, and Traci and Clay Day of Aragon; one sister, Norma Knight of Tyrone; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Nathan Sanders officiating. An entombment will follow at Providence Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Crocker, Matthew Martin, Clay Day, Eddie Martin and Tommy Shockley.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
