Helen Ann Shook, 72, of Cartersville passed away Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at her residence. Born in Polk County she was the daughter of the late Archie Robinson and the late Bertha Atkins Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert David Shook. Helen was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church and was very active in the Ladies Circle.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Linda Bruce of Cartersville, and Patti and Bob Bailey of Alpharetta; her sister and brother-in-law, Dot and Johnny Hale; her grandchildren, Corey Long and Rachel Long; and her great-grandchildren, Reese, Annika and Aviana Nation.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home with the Rev. Carlos Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in Cassville Cemetery.

The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
