Judi Tibbetts Barnes, 67, of Roving Hill Circle, Cartersville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011.

Mrs. Barnes was born Aug. 28, 1943, in Chattanooga, Tenn., the daughter of Lula R. Tibbetts and the late C.J. Tibbetts and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Judi was a retired Probation Officer for the State of Gerogia, was a member of the Retired Law Officers Association, a member of Emaeus, DAR, the Magnolia Garden Club and the Red Hat Society.

Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Marilu and Greg Albaugh of Aurora, Colo.; two grandsons, Brock and Hayden Albaugh; her mother, Lula R. Tibbetts of Cartersville; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Patsy Tibbetts of Cartersville, Dotty and Jim Dysart of Dallas; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, at 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. The body will lie in state from noon until the funeral hour.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday afternoon and evening from 4 to 9 p.m.
