“Every set was well-played by all three teams,” Adairsville coach David Adams said.
The Lady Tigers defeated Rockmart, 25-21, 21-25, 25-23, before losing to Rome, 24-26, 26-24, 20-25.
Adams was extremely confident that Stephanie Kurht set a school record with her combined 24 attacks and 17 kills.
Kuhrt had 13 attacks, 11 kills and four blocks in Adairsville’s victory. She then had 11 attacks, six kills and three blocks in the team’s defeat.
