Lawrence was born May 21, 1969, in Zachary, La., to the late Sis Carrilean Davis and the late Rev. Johnny Johnson. He was lovingly reared by Rosa L. Cavalier and her husband Richard Johnson.
Lawrence accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior in March 2003 at the Won By One Missionary Church pastored by the Rev. Irvin Henry. After relocating to Cartersville, he united with the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his loving wife, Carla; three daughters, Tina, Lawrencia and Laurenda Jo; three sons, Cecil, Carl and Lawrence Jr.; seven sisters, Bessie Ginyard, Emma Davis, Leah Jean Allen, Lizara Davis, Rosa Stewart (Carl), Jennifer Cavalier and Gladys Anderson; five brothers, John Ginyard, Melvin Davis, Richard Cavalier, Leroy Cavalier and Brian Cavalier; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
