A real pitchers' duel ensued Tuesday night between the Tigers and Dodgers in a Cartersville Little League postseason matchup.
The Dodgers' Joseph Jolly struck out six in five innings while Trenton Frazier, Bret Phinney and Anthony Seigler combined for seven strikeouts in six innings for their team's 4-2 win.
The game featured several fine defensive plays, particularly by Thomas Jolly in center field for the Dodgers and Seigler at second base for the Tigers.
Parker Tidwell had three hits for the Tigers, Frazier had two and Phinney and Harrison Osborn each had a hit.
Caleb Gridley and Joseph Jolly had the Dodgers' only two hits.
