The board is expected to discuss, and later vote on, computer equipment totaling $102,659.
The board also is expected to hear a recommendation to clarify changes in the Student Code of Conduct and Discipline Procedures; class ranking, honor graduates and honor rolls and a recommendation to make for public review the new school bullying, harassment and intimidation policy as well as seclusion and restraint policy.
The Bartow County Board of Education will hold its work session tonight at 6 p.m. and is expected to hear reports from the superintendent, construction department, finance department and also hear district surveys.
Both boards will meet at their respective central offices, with Cartersville on Nelson St. and Bartow on Gilreath Road.
