Mrs. Louise Clark Rodgers, 86, of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

Born in Swainsboro, on Nov. 19, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Wyatt Floyd Clark and the late Arrie Canady Clark. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her husband, Durward Rodgers; two brothers, Wyatt and Amos Clark; and a sister, Mildred Archer.

Mrs. Rodgers was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville and prior to retirement was a medical assistant.

She is survived by one brother, Floyd Clark Jr. of Acworth.

The family received friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and cremation services followed by a 7 p.m. service with Dr. Joe E. Edwards officiating. Mrs. Rodgers will be transported to Jacksonville, Fla., for a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Evergreen Cemetery.
