A Cartersville police officer spoke with the victim who said she was trying on clothes when she looked down and observed a black male peeking under her dressing room door. The male, identified as Kenneth Richards, attempted to hide in another dressing room before exiting the dressing room and the store. He was spotted shortly after the incident walking in the area of Gentilly Boulevard and Highway 61 by a Cartersville officer who took him back to the store where the victim identified him as the suspect.
Richards stated he didn't look under the door but was trying on a pair of pants. He was arrested and charged with peeping Tom.
