According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, on Monday, May 31, deputies responded to 131 Whispering Pines Lane, White, in reference to a man being stabbed.
Millsap said a fight had occurred at the home and as a result Jason Champion was stabbed numerous times.
Champion was taken to Floyd Medical Center, where he was treated and hospitalized. Champion died Friday while still at Floyd Medical Center.
Investigators have charged Andrew Ray Bartholomew, 21, 131 Whispering Pines Lane, White, with one count of murder.
Bartholomew who was out of town when warrants were taken and turned himself into the Bartow County Jail on Tuesday.
The investigation is ongoing and further arrest warrants could be taken.
