Jerry Wayne Brawley Jr. allegedly left his clothes in the middle of the road at the intersection of Staton Place and Blueberry Ridge in Acworth about 8:30 Wednesday night after “something had bit him,” a motorist told authorities.
Brawley then headed down Blueberry Ridge, according to the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office incident report. The deputy was flagged down by a resident who said, “There is a guy on my porch in his underwear[.] I think he is crazy as hell.”
The deputy met Brawley who said “something had crawled in his mouth and bit him and it was now in his stomach, biting his toes,” the report stated. After calming down somewhat, Brawley, according to the report, asked the deputy, “Did you hear that? It’s hissing in my stomach; it’s putting venom in my stomach. You’re going to have to cut me open and get it out.”
Brawley later admitted to smoking marijuana and using meth earlier in the day. He was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
