A Cartersville police officer was dispatched to Erwin North Apartments at approximately 7:14 p.m. in reference to a domestic dispute. When he arrived the officer found several broken flower pots and a fan laying on the ground in front of an apartment, according to the incident report. The officer met with the complainant, who said he and a woman were down at the lake earlier that day, drinking.
The complainant said he and the woman, later identified as Janet Elaine Webb, got into an altercation because Webb was allegedly talking to another man. The complainant claimed Webb broke the windshield of his Dodge truck, which he valued at approximately $290. According to the report, the complainant was unsure where the truck was damaged, but he thought it was in Cartersville.
The complainant also said Webb broke three large flower pots and a fan after they returned home.

As they drove back home, Webb said she got out of the vehicle a number of times and the complainant picked her back up. During one of those times, according to the report, Webb said she broke the truck’s windshield by throwing a liquor bottle at it.
When the two arrived at the apartment, Webb said the complainant asked her to take his property outside. According to the report, Webb took his property and threw it off the balcony.
