Many Bartow residents were among the 26 arrested on various drug charges on Thursday.

According to Bartow County Sheriff Clark Millsap and Cartersville Police Department Chief Tommy Culpepper, officers arrested 26 people on outstanding warrants that ranged from the sale of various drugs, aggravated assault, weapons charges to probation violation. In all, more than 50 warrants were served.

The Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force (FBI Safe Streets Task Force), Georgia Bureau of Investigations, U. S. Marshalls Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and Deputies and Officers with the Bartow County Sheriff's Office and the Cartersville Police Department participated in an Outstanding Warrant Round-Up.

Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force Deputy Commander Lieutenant J. L. Cheek said that the majority of the warrants served were the result of long term drug investigations by the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force (FBI Safe Streets Task Force). Chief Culpepper and Sheriff Millsap said the operation was a success and expect more arrests in the near future. The following individuals were arrested and jailed at the Bartow County Jail:

1. Jessica Hope Williams, 20, of 14 Dean Street, Cartersville, charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

2. Andrew Quillian Robinson, 47, of 123 May Street, Adairsville, charged with Sale of Schedule II, possession of Schedule IV, and drugs in not in original container.

3. Letroy Arice Clark-Nelson, 2, of 14 Dean Street, Cartersville, charged with sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and criminal damage.

4. Sandra Norine Duncan, 54, of 271 Joann Drive, Calhoun, charged with sale of Schedule IV, sale of Schedule II, and unlawful use of a communication facility.

5. Bradley Shelton Payton, 41, of 38 Luwanda Trial, Cartersville, charged with sale of methamphetamine and unlawful use of a communication facility.

6. Steve Watkins, 29, of 814 Somerset Club Drive, Cartersville charged with party to the crime sale of marijuana and party to the crime sale of marijuana within 1,000 feet of school.

7. Billy Wayne Floyd, 57, of 4019 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, Cartersville, charged with Sale of schedule II drugs and unlawful use of a communication facility.

8. Robert Lee Windiate, 33, of 134 Taylorsville Road, Taylorsville, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine by ingestion, possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

9. David Allen Miller, 22, of 100 Lowrey Road Kingston, charged with theft by taking and probation violation.

10. Robert Leeneal Deford, 31, of 665 Euharlee Five Forks, charged with theft by taking motor vehicle and bondsman off of bond.

11. Marcos Torres, 23, of 74 Popham Road, Taylorsville, charged with sale of schedule II drugs and unlawful use of communication facility.

12. Matthew Barrett McAfee, 24, of110 Woodland Drive, Cartersville, charged with sale of marijuana and distribution of schedule II.

13. William Alexander Henderson, 25, of 13-E Otting Drive, Cartersville, charged with sale of schedule II drugs and unlawful use of a communication facility.

14. Joseph Lamont Bruno, 28, of 6 Pittman St., Cartersville, charged with possession of cocaine, obstruction, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, concealed tag and no license.

15. David Wayne Hampton, 56,of 1116 North Tennessee St., Cartersville, charged with sale of schedule II drugs, unlawful use of a communication facility and theft by taking

16. Stephen Jamal Herring, 20, of 25-A Red Comb Drive, Cartersville, charged with sale of marijuana and sale of marijuana within 1000 feet of a school.

17. Marvin Grady Cordell, Jr., 42, of 290 East Felton Road, Cartersville, charged with party to a crime of forgery.

18. Shawna Kay May, 28, of 1116 North Tennessee St., Cartersville, charged with possession of schedule II, theft by deception, and exploitation of the elderly.

19. Brian Marquez, 18, of 21 Fairfield Lane, Cartersville, charged with theft by taking.

20. Jeromy Val Dietsch, 32, of 50 Echota Road, Cartersville, charged with sale of schedule II drugs, theft by taking, theft by deception, and unlawful use of communication facility.

21. Curtis Howard Russell, 48, of 366 Old Mill Road, Cartersville, charged with theft by taking.

22. Michael Carl Lowe, 47, of 204 East Felton Road, Cartersville, charged with probation violation.

23. Patsy Jane Earhart, 54, of 123 May Street, Adairsville, charged with sale of schedule II drugs.

24. Nathan Howell Williams, 32, of 1024 Miller Ferry Road, Adairsville, charged with probation violation.

25. Caleb Linwood Cain, 20, of 317 Rail Drive, Adairsville, charged with probation violation.

26. Gary May, 32, of 390 Old Mill Road, Apt. 607, Cartersville, charged with distribution of schedule II drugs, exploitation of the elderly, theft by deception, and sale of schedule II drugs.
