Funeral service will be noon Friday, April 15, at St. Luke AME Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, April 14, at Mack Eppinger's Funeral Home.
Bertha was born on Oct. 24, 1930, in Kingston, Ga., to the late Jetson and Lemmer Mae Gary Pritchett. She was educated in the Bartow County School System and attended Summer Hill High School. She joined the St. Luke AME Church at an early age and served faithfully until a decline in her health.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Mammie Smith, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Loraine Edmunson, Rome; two aunts, Mary Moore, Cartersville and Jonell Permenter, Tucker; two uncles, Ester Myles Gary, Rockmart and Willie Frank Gary (Nedia), Cartersville; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
