Mrs. Nina Lee Harvey, 97, of Cartersville, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2012, at Fite Living Center. Born in Greenwood, Miss., on June 20, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Judge Allen White and the late Lee Ella Vaughn White. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lewis Harvey.

Mrs. Harvey retired from Eastern Airlines as an Executive Account Manager. She was a member of The Redeemer Lutheran Church in Atlanta. In Mrs. Harvey's earlier years she was a member of the Paternal Order of Elks "Elkette" and active in the Women's' Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include her niece, Mary Beard of Cartersville; one granddaughter, Ashlee L. Harvey of Memphis, Tenn.; and one nephew, Ronald Dale Harris and wife, Carole of Buford.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 31, in the chapel of Parnick Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Mary Peters officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in memory of Mrs. Harvey to the American Heart Association of Georgia, 1101 North Chase Parkway, Suite 1, Marietta, GA 30067.
