The Crab Nebula is one of the colorful images that are part of Tellus' exhibit that opens May 5. The Crab Nebula is the remnant of a supernova explosion witnessed by Japanese and Chinese astronomers in 1054. This nebula is 6,500 light years away and can be seen in the constellation Taurus.
