A look back into time and days before industrialization, the 12th annual North Georgia Flint Knappers and Primitive Arts Festival will be held Thursday through Sunday.

Beginning at 8 a.m. each day and continuing into the evening, visitors can experience handmade crafts, primitive tools, primitive weapons and works of art. Demonstrations for creating various weapons and arts will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. A nature walk to identify useful and edible plants also is included in the list of events.

All admission, parking and demonstrations are free and open to the public.

A public auction will be held at noon Saturday, featuring unique, handmade items donated by the vendors. Door prizes also will be awarded at that time.

Along with arts and crafts vendors, a food vendor will be on site.
