Rose Marie O’Lague, 75, of Wilderness Camp Road, White, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012.

Mrs. O’Lague was born Nov. 3, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minn., a daughter of the late Major Easthagen and Dollie Easthagen.

She was the owner/director of the Children’s Theatre Camp in Cartersville from 1995 until 2004. She was a self-taught artist who loved to paint set designs, murals and especially pottery. She surrounded herself with the love and laughter of children and found great joy in teaching them the fundamentals of theatre.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Lucky O’Lague; children, Kathi Henderson, Michael O’Lague, Wendy Statz, Tina Cook, Jonilane Walker, Anna Southwick, Thomas Smith III, Chris Smith, Antoinette O’Lague, Mark O’Lague, Marion O’Lague, Shawn Smith, Austria Tomlinson and Amanda Smith; brothers and sisters, Roy Kahler, Major Easthagen, Peggy Shepherd, Patty McGrath, Michael Easthagen, Heidi Dolan and Jeff Easthagen; and 32 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Sylvia Frasier and a son August O’Lague Jr. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. Please visit to post tributes and sign the online register.
