Teen shot in stable condition

Daylon Gamble, 19, is reported to be in stable condition after being shot Tuesday when he allegedly entered a Cartersville residence at 46 Hannon Way, and an altercation with the residents ensued.

About 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, the Cartersville Police Department responded to a "shots fired" call at 46 Hannon Way to find Gamble lying in the grass with suspected gunshot wounds. Officers also observed suspected bullet holes in the residence and broken glass at the front door.

The resident of 46 Hannon Way, Joseph Collins, was charged with possession of marijuana and pills not in original container.
