Isolated thunderstorms rolled into the Bartow area Saturday evening and are expected to linger through the week with 30 percent chances of precipitation.

Although rain may pass in intermittent spurts, temperatures are predicted to remain in the upper 60s to low 90s. At this time severe weather warnings have not been issued.

Passing storms Friday night downed trees; one on Cass-White Road at Brown Loop and one on Barnsley Garden Road. High winds are not currently in the forecast but saturated ground can weaken root systems, causing trees to fall. Emergency agencies urge caution while driving through rain.
