Even with a couple of squandered scoring opportunities in the first half and an offense that never completely got rolling, the Adairsville football team never lost control of its game against East Hall Friday thanks to a defense that placed a stranglehold on the Vikings’ offense.
The Tigers kept East Hall in check, not relinquishing a touchdown until late in their 26-9 home win.
In other Bartow County football action Friday, Cass lost at home to Sequoyah, 44-10; and Woodland also suffered a similar fate with a 28-13 defeat to visiting Johns Creek.
