The crash, involving a tractor-trailer dump truck and a four-door, gray sedan, occurred about 11:45 a.m. on Highway 113 toward Rockmart at Old Stilesboro Road and Covered Bridge Road in the area of T&M convenience store. The roadway was closed as crews worked the scene.
Two men in the sedan were killed in the crash when the car went under the truck. The Bartow County coroner arrived on scene about 12:45, and crews were working to extricate the victims.
Bartow County Fire Department and the Georgia State Patrol worked the scene.
