Bartow County Sheriff's Office made two more arrests in the murder of a Marietta man last month.

According to BCSO Investigator Sgt. Jonathan Rogers, the two men were in custody when the additional charges were taken Thursday. One man is incarcerated in Bartow County Jail. Rogers said Thursday evening he was unsure where the other male was housed.

Timothy Buck was found shot in the head June 25 at a home on Harvest Way in Emerson.

Antonio Shamarr Linley, 22, of Emerson was arrested in Dalton last week and charged with murder.

Rogers said more information on Thursday's arrests would be released today.

Duplex fire evacuates two families

A duplex fire at 247 Lawrence St. in Adairsville around 8 p.m. Wednesday caused two families to seek shelter elsewhere.

The Bartow County Fire Department said the fire was contained to one side of the duplex, but the other apartment sustained water and smoke damage. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
