According to the Cartersville police reports, between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. a suspect broke a passenger-side window out of the automobiles, taking items from within the cars. Five purses and their contents, along with a cellphone, were reported stolen.
None of the complainants were able to provide information on suspicious activity in the area and no one reported hearing anything.
