In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a brother, Tim Kimbell.
Survivors include her husband, Dewayne Smith of Ala.; her son, Timothy W. Kimbell of Cartersville; her mother, Betty Knight of Rydal; her brother, Michael Kimbell of Marietta; her sister, Kathy Smith of Rydal; two granddaughters, Hailey and Victoria Kimbell of Kentucky; and five nieces and nephews, Justin, Rhiannon, Dana, Devon and Michelle Kimbell.
An informal memorial service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dellinger Park in Cartersville.
